Sharing.

I found some really interesting things worth sharing while reading through my accumulated bloglovin’ posts.

This is what happens when a bike and a sewing machine fall in love:

The Bicycle Cap by peSeta for the New Museum from casa peSeta on Vimeo.

And this is a video from a knitwear designer that I need to be watching:

The line is called Monsieur Lacenaire and I really loved their detachable shawl collar near the end of the video.  I discovered this video via Style Bubble.

Lastly a few articles, one from the ever-informative Ecouterre:

Keep or Toss? 10 Slightly Unconventional Rules for Editing Your Wardrobe  —  This seems to have a few good guidelines on the compromise of whether you should toss something that is meaningful, even if you never wear it…  My only addition to their Rule no. 1 is if you haven’t worn it for one year, give it another test-run chance and then decide if you will wear it again or toss.

…and also one from EcoSalon:

What Happens to our Cast off Clothing?  —  I am very glad that this issue is getting more notice and there are more organisations addressing this.

Hey, lastly, has anyone else recently discovered Slow Fashioned?  It’s great!!

Hi Kristen – I’m sorry that I won’t be able to come along to see your work – but I hope to see it some other time. Anne x
