Much to say, little to show

Time for the ubiquitous and compulsory ‘Happy New Year!’ Not that I’m dreading the beginning of a new year, in fact I’m quite excited about what 2011 has to offer;  it just seems that you can’t have your first post of the new year without the phrase…

Well it has been a great holiday, we had some close friends from FL visit, with whom we embarked into the land or Narnia, or more specifically Torwood Castle.

It really was a silent and magical place, one of the best places we’ve visited our entire stay in Scotland.  You can see more pictures on my Flickr album.  After our friends left, we had a quiet and lovely Christmas just us two, with stockings, presents, and Christmas roast.

We travelled to FL ourselves to spend time with our friends and family (& cats!)…

sorry for lack of pictures, I was having too much fun to spend the time behind the lens!

Returning from sunny Florida to icy Edinburgh was difficult but once the routine of a new semester set into motion, things perked up.  Uni is going great and keeping me busy, but I’ve still managed to find some time to sew and knit (FO’s to be shared once pictures have been taken).

As far as New Years Resolutions go, I haven’t made any.  I’m just looking forward to completing my Masters, spending time with friends, and finding time to sew/knit for myself.  Oh, and if I find a job in the year 2011, that would be fabulous too!

So there are no knitting/sewing related news/pictures in this post, but I promise I will post soon!

Cute cat! Look forward to seeing what you’ve been making.
