I found me!
I see that I’ve been featured on a great blog, called Thread & Needles. Its in French so I’m at the mercy of Google Translate, but I’m pretty excited!
And speaking of the Men’s Shirt Makeover, look at this FABULOUS site! Her makeovers are so very chic. The site is called ‘My Man’s Shirt’ and is only Men’s shirt refashions, and I just LOVE them! She also sells them through Etsy.
Oooh, and Eline of EO-NO made and Etsy collage of Fair Isle items and she featured my tea cosy pattern! I really want those wristwarmers featured there!
As far as knitting goes, I’ve finished another pumpkin, but am dragging my feet on what to do next (trying to ignore the long-overdue jumper that I have been slowly knitting for Trent)… Anything special on your needles and/or sewing table? Does anyone have a “go-to” project for when they’re not feeling particularly inspired?
Working on the son’s costume, as you know. I really love having my knitting in the evenings as a work in progress. It’s nice to be in the same room as my husband and work on the scarf. Because it’s nothing fancy right now I can pick it up or leave it at any time so it’s not at all stressful for me, as sewing sometimes is with its deadlines. I think knowing that it will take a long time to get it done makes me stress less about hurrying. I’m liking it!
Congrats on all your features!! Very exciting!!
Congratulations — you’re making the “big time” now.
Love the tea cozy; love the one you made for me, too.

Yeay – congrats on being featured, twice!
I’d love to check out the shirt-refashion site but the link isn’t working for me and I can’t find it on an internet search. Could you tell me the address? Thanks 🙂
Hi, sorry I forgot to link it! I updated the post now but here it is: http://www.machemisedhomme.com/fr/boutique
plus her etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/machemisedhomme?ref=top_trail
Fame and fortune! Love the fairisle treasury, your pattern is great and yep I want some fairisle wrist warmers too.
I don’t currently have a go-to no-brainer project but I want to start making a granny square blanket for this very reason…
COngratulations! Thanks for the links to the blogs as well! I have a leg warmer project on my needles as well, and a crochet blanket that has not grown a lot in the past 5 weeks… I always go for a smaller project, quicker to see the result (I have an idea for new mittens)..
Haha your crochet blanket sounds like my husband’s jumper – it has not grown a lot at all! Smaller projects make me feel so much more productive by allowing your progress to look so much faster!
