No, they are not for me or any little one of mine. My friend Justine from work just recently had a baby shower for her daughter number 2, Mia, expected on or around April 6. We have quite the baby pool going for her at work, and I’ve got my fingers crossed that she’ll deliver on March 30. Anyway, I wanted to make something special for baby Mia, and this Saartje’s Booties pattern proves far too precious and simple.
And to make it even more ridiculously cute, I labelled the gift bag by glueing a decorative “m” for Mia in pink yarn, and Teo had the brilliant idea for using excess yarn scraps in lieu of the usual confetti or tissue paper to stuff the gift bag.

Now that Mia is here, maybe you should post the picture of you holding her! (With mom’s permission, of course!) Or maybe get a picture of Mia wearing the booties!
